Chad Woolsey – FBA walk-on who moved to fullback from running back after the spring practice season … Has seen extensive action on special teams throughout his career … Is listed second on the depth chart at fullback heading into the 2018 campaign … Saw action in 12 games as a junior in 2017, rushing eight times for 41 yards (5.1 avg.) … Also notched two assisted tackes on special teams … Recorded his first three career rushing attempts n the opener vs. US Davis for 20 yards (6.7 avg.) with a long of 12 yards … Played two games on special teams in 2016, recording two tackes (one solo) … Competed for one season at Santa Barbara City College in 2015, rushing for 555 yard (4.7 avg.) on 118 carries with six touchdowns … Also caught 19 passes for 112 yards (11.2 avg.) … Earned three letters at Rancho Buena Vista High School in nearby Vista, Calif. … Garnered first-team Avacado East League honors … Rushed for 1966 yard and 24 touchdowns as a senior … Also won three letters in track and field as a prep. |
